Making Yougurt at home/Curd


Milk - 1/2 liter(Any milk,1%, whole milk , 2% , or fat free)
Curd - 2 tbsp(Home made ,If you don't have home made curd,you can use store dahi)

Boil milk without adding water.Let it cool a bit.
When it is slightly warm,add 2tbsp curd and mix well.Close the lid and keep aside for 10-12 hours,OR
Cover with lid and let it set for about 6-7 hrs in places where its over 35 degrees C. It normally takes about 5 hrs app to ferment.
Now Dahi is ready
