Turkey berry / Sundakkai has amazing health benefits .It helps in controlling diabetics .
- Turkey berry / Sundakkai - 1/4 cup
- Onion -1 no , chopped
- Tamarind juice - 1/2 cup
- Sambhar powder - 2 tsp ( Red Chilli Powder could be used )
- Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Methi seeds / Fenugreek Seeds -1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
- Salt - to taste
In a Kadai, heat oil, add the mustard seeds and allow it to pop.Now add methi seeds and stir for few seconds .Now add the sun dried vegetables and cook till it is fried well.Add onions , tomatoes and cook till it becomes soft.
Serve hot with Steam rice and a side dish as per your choice to make it a perfect lunch menu .
