Paneer Recipe / Cottage Cheese / பன்னீர்


Ingredients:

  • Milk- 1/2 Gallon
  • Lemon Juice - 4 tsp

Procedure:

Bring the milk to boil.


Add 4 tsp of lemon juice and give a continuous stir till the whey gets separated.


The milk will be curdled now .


Filter the whey using a muslin cloth .


Tap the muslin cloth  to become flat, with the whey inside it.
Place a heavy bottom pan with water on top of the  flattened muslin cloth.


Set aside for an hour.
Remove the fresh paneer from Muslin cloth and cut it in to small cubes using a knife.



Transfer the cut pieces in to a zip lock bag and freeze it.
