Stir Fry Spinach / Spinach poriyal


Ingredients:

Spinach - 1 bunch , chopped
Onion - 1 no , chopped
Red chilli - 1 no
Salt - to taste
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad dhal - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 1 tsp
Grated Coconut - 2 tsp

Procedure:

Heat oil in a shallow pan.
Add the mustard seeds , Urad dhal  and allow it to splutter. Add the red chilli .
Add the onions and cook till it becomes translucent.




Add the chopped spinach , salt , sprinkle little water and cook till it becomes soft.


Add the grated Coconut and Stir .



Serve hot with steamed rice .
