South Indian Non vegetarian Thali meals / Party Menu



We had guest last weekend and i wanted to prepare a non vegetarian thali meals, so i ended up cooking this menu . My guest absolutely loved this and we had a great party for the weekend.

Non - vegetarian Thali Meals Menu / Thali Party Menu

Steamed Rice ( The Recipe is posted below )
curd / yogurt 
Rasam 
Chicken Gravy 
Egg Gravy 
Pickle 

Steamed Rice Recipe: 

We love to eat ponni boiled rice .Here goes the recipe of cooking rice.

Ponni Boiled Rice - 2 cups , soaked for 30 minutes.
Water - 5 cups
Salt - to taste

Pressure Cooker:

Add 5 cups of water , salt  and bring it to boil.Add the rice, pressure cook for 2 whistle.

 Rice Cooker:

Add the salt , water , rice and turn on the rice cooker.The rice gets ready in 20 minutes.

  8. We seems to have similar liking to the type of food we eat. Just like you, we too have ponni rice, actually its more for my other half and his health reasons. Btw, thats a wonderful spread of food and say yes to spicy food all the way.
