potato Bhaji Recipe / Aloo Bhaji Recipe / Poori  Kilangu

Ingredients:

Boiled potato - 3 no , Diced
Onion - 1 no , Chopped
Tomato - 1 no , chopped
Green Chilli - 3 no , slit
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dhal - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste

Method:

Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan , add the mustard seeds  , allow it to pop . Now add the urad dhal and fry till it turns brown . Add the chopped onion and fry till it become translucent . Add the tomatoes and slit chilli's and cook till the tomatoes become soft .


Add the boiled potatoes , turmeric powder and salt.


Sprinkle little water .Cover with the lid and cook for few minutes OR pressure cook the contents for 1 hisses .I pressure cooked the contents .


Open the pressure cooker and if u find excess water allow it to cook till the water evaporates .


Serve hot .


Enjoy this with hot puffed up poori or roti .
