|Tofu Peas Masala / Tofu Mutter Recipe|
Tofu - 450 gms , cut in small squares
Peas - 1/2 cup , Frozen or Fresh
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Ground nuts - 2 tbsp
Onion - 2 no , chopped
Tomato - 2 no , chopped
Ginger - 2' piece , chopped
Garlic pods - 4 nos
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Oil - t tbsp
Salt - to taste
Heat oil in a Kadai , add the onions , ground nuts , ginger and garlic and fry till the raw smell goes away .
Add the tomatoes and cook till they become soft .
Grind the contents in to a paste in a mixer by adding little water . Set aside .
In a tawa , fry the tofu by spraying little oil . Set aside .
Add in the peas and fry in for few minutes . Now add the ground masala paste from the mixer . Add the garam masala, red chilli powder , salt , little water and bring the contents to boil .
After the raw smell from the masala is gone , add in the fried tofu and cook for few minutes till the oil separates out from the gravy .
Serve hot with Nan / Rotis or steamed rice .
